FX Superior barrel liners are essentially an inner barrel that fits inside the main STX Barrel.
These liners are designed to fine tune the performance of the FX Air Rifle when using certain ammunition.

STX Superior / Superior Heavy Liner
With the advent of the new hybrid slugs and advanced pellet technologies, FX have developed a new kind of liner. This superior liner provides the best possible accuracy, whether you are using Slugs, Hybrid Slugs or top quality pellets – accuracy is guaranteed. This liner can be retrofitted to all STX equipped models. The superior liner is recommended for pellets and slugs and the heavy is recommended for shooting slugs.

Similar to the Superior Heavy the Superior Slug is the newest addition to the range. It is made from a different material designed to work even better with slugs, however this tends to be not so efficient with pellets. Only available for .25 700mm
